As a professional, I have 4 years of global product design experience across China, Taiwan, Japan, the US, and the UK, where I focus on using enterprise design thinking to understand people, help people understand, and drive high revenue for companies. Currently, I’m leading design efforts on Tesla's energy team, managing data for Tesla's global charging devices like Superchargers and Wall Connectors. My design work has increased installers' working efficiency by 80%, covered 15,000 installers worldwide, and generated $100 million in revenue for Tesla in 2024.
As a researcher, I focus on designing with AI. I created tools to audit AI systems for bias and fairness under Prof. Jason Hong, enhancing collaboration between designers and clients at ADCS Labs with Prof. Nikolas at CMU. I’ve led design efforts to build an AI-driven job search and referral platform that achieved an 87% search-to-fill rate at Rexpand, and design an AI Runbook that helped SREs reduce incident resolution time by 29% at Splunk.
As a speaker, I have been invited to speak on UX design at HCI conferences and UX associations, lead design thinking workshops in Japan, and have been interviewed by over 20 medias about design thinking, design for social innovation, and algorithmic bias.
As an artist, my artworks critique our society. I have worked solo and collaborated with masters like Gaetano Pesce to explore the essence of human-ness, critique social issues, and propose solutions. My work has earned over 20 prestigious international awards like IF, Red Dot, and IDEA, been archived by design magazines, and exhibited in countries including the US, France, Poland, Germany, Singapore, etc,.
As a content creator, I have traveled to over 20 countries, identifying people’s insights, problems, and design opportunities through intercultural communication. I document my travels through paintings and videos, which I share on social media. I’ve gained over 8,000 followers, sharing my well-rounded worldview.
